Hangprinter with direct screw auger for pellet extrusion

3D Printer and applications (Products)

Overview

This open-source large-scale 3D printer is developed for accessible and sustainable additive manufacturing using granulate and recycled materials, based on the original concept of Hangprinter, a cable-driven frameless 3D printer. 1 It includes the complete system architecture (physical structure set up, electrical schematics, and firmware configurations), together with example product application 3D models that demonstrate the capabilities of the 3D printer. This custom system shows potential for fused-particle fabrication workflows, scalable hardware experimentation, and practical large-format production of functional components within distributed recycling for additive manufacturing contexts. 2
